Pastor
Alan McKnight is the Pastor at Harper Church. He preaches and leads the church alongside the elders. Alan is married to Pamela and they have three children.
Peter Fullerton
Associate Pastor
Peter is an Associate Pastor at Harper with a focus on youth ministries. Peter is married to Lindsay and they have three sons.
David Childs
Elder
David and his wife Diane joined us at Harper to assist with leading a team to plant a church in Govan.
David Meiklejohn
Elder
David serves as an Elder at Harper and is actively involved in the children’s ministries. David works in the telecommunications industry and is married to Claire, together they have a daughter.
John Wadsworth
Elder
John is an Elder at Harper and is currently responsible for welcome and connecting activities within the church. John is married to Sarah and they have three daughters.
William Bell
Elder
William looks after all of the growth groups, within Harper. He works as a university lecturer and is married to Lorraine, they have three sons.

Ministry Trainee
Irfan is a ministry trainee at Harper currently studying at Cornhill Scotland. Irfan is married to Kanwal, together they have 2 children.
Adewale Akintunde
Ministry Trainee
Adewale is a ministry trainee at Harper currently studying at Cornhill Scotland. Adewale is married to Oluwayomi, together they have 2 children.
Agnes Henderson
Deacon - Elderly and Hospital Care
Agnes’ role as Deacon oversees the care of older persons within the church including hospital visitation.
Carla Hunter
Deacon - International Mission
Carla is Deacon of International Mission and oversees the Church Missionary Committee. Carla works at Cornhill Scotland and is married to Michael.
Donald Phillips
Deacon - AV and IT
Donald is the church’s Deacon for AV and IT. Donald runs technical support for a University in Glasgow and is married to Joyce, they have two sons.
Hamish Marshall
Deacon - Staffing
Hamish is Deacon of Staffing and looks after staffing matters of the church. Hamish runs a specialist printing business and is married to Gillian, they have three children.
Janette Blakeway
Deacon - Administration
Janette supports the work of the church in her role as Deacon of administration as well as being the church secretary.
Jonathan Williams
Deacon - Finance
Jonathan serves the church as the Treasurer. He works within the IT industry and is married to Laura, together they have 2 children.
Michael Hunter
Deacon - Young Adults
Michael is married to Carla and he oversees the growing Student and Young Adults Ministry within Harper.
Sonita Masih
Deacon - Hospitality
Sonita is responsible for overseeing hospitality, including the various teams who provide food in the church, as well as hospitality ideas for the church as a whole.
Norman Yardley
Deacon - Property
Norman looks after all of the building maintenance issues at church and serves as a Board Member of Harper Community Initiative. Norman is a Project Manager in local government and is married to Karen, they have two sons.
Lawrence Jah
Cross-Cultural Worker
Lawrence is involved in evangelism and working among the range of nationalities that are part of the church. He is married to Elizabeth and is working in Glasgow as part of the SIM engage missionary project.
Rebecca Naysmith
Cross-Cultural Worker
Rebecca is our Cross-Cultural Worker. She primarily works with Asylum Seekers, Refugees and other Internationals in the community: reaching out, engaging and running courses with different groups and individuals.
Robin Blake
Team Leader - Asylum Care
Robin, working with the rest of the team, collects and distributes furniture and clothing to those who have recently joined us from other countries. Robin leads the practical support of asylum seekers.
